On July 3d, my sister, Rebecca (Becky, Beck, Doctor Matchette, etc), received the diagnosis above.  This is an extremely rare form of incurable cancer.

To say that it rocked our world is a gross understatement.

And now to work on the way forward.....

Treatment options for her type of cancer are very limited.  Her recommended treatment right now is Chemotherapy with the possibility of Immunotherapy.  Her first chemo session was on Monday the 15th of July.  We won't know for a couple more weeks, though, if she is a candidate for Immunotherapy.



Her treatment schedule right now is chemo every other week.

She is getting a second opinion at the Mayo Clinic.  And that's where this GoFundMe comes in.  You see....Mayo is Out-of-Network so it is not covered by her insurance.  This initial consult alone is $750.

This is just the beginning of the expenses that will be piling up.
