Becky's Battle for Beating Cancer

Becky Alzner is a friend of mine as well as a co-worker and this is her story.
After bowling at a local charity fundraiser, her lower back began bothering her. After struggling with pain and home remedies for a few weeks, the pain moved further down to her leg...maybe visit to the chiropractor will help. One x-ray began a series of many, many tests and less 60 days ago Becky and her family learned, in fact, it was cancer...that has spread to many different areas in her body.
Becky, a Realtor with Keller Williams for many years, her husband, John (a local contractor) and their son (Gunter Tiger Student Athlete #TPW) are active members of the community. The entire family is dependent upon their self-employed incomes. There is no PTO, family leave or sick time compensation for the self-employed when they are unable to work. Obviously, this has the entire family reeling! How will we continue to support our family with things at a screeching halt? In the middle of a pandemic?
Becky has already undergone one surgery for a broken femur bone and many, many treatments so far. Many more treatments are necessary to fight the cancer. Medical bills are mounting into the hundreds of thousands of dollars and they are finding insurance is not enough. There are needs beyond the medical bills as well...transportation, medical equipment, expensive prescriptions, food, etc....and are needed immediately.
At the time of her diagnosis, Becky was the KW CARES Chairperson for Keller Williams North Country - constantly working to give back to the community...now it is our turn to give back to her.
Becky and John... believe that between modern medicine and the healing power of GOD that she will be restored back to 100% again!! Becky is currently undergoing radiation treatments, many blood transfusions (please donate blood!) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy. So far they are seeing small improvements everyday and things are looking positive.
