Becky Veselka

Becky is 44, a wife, mother, grandmother, and an amazing friend. On January 6th, 2022, Becky was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma. This is a very rare type of cancer that affects roughly 1-2% of the population. Monday, she will undergo surgery to remove the breast where it was located, and once that is complete, she will start aggressive chemotherapy an possibly radiation. Chemo and radiation take a toll on a person, and in the coming weeks she will be out of work for appointments, treatments, rest, etc. She is a strong person and is determined to beat this, but everyone needs a little help sometimes.

This account is being set up in order to help defer some of the costs associated with the fight she has ahead such as lost wages from missed work for her and her family, travel costs as she will be traveling back and forth multiple times a week to Grand Forks for treatment, and any other out of pocket expenses that arise from this fight. Hopefully with a little financial help, she and her family can focus more on her road to beating cancer's ass than the financial toll this fight can take on people.
