My mom has been battling leukemia since the beginning of this year. Since she was diagnosed she has been traveling to and from Philadelphia to Fox Chase for chemotherapy treatment, as well as going to multiple appointments through the week locally. Since being diagnosed, she has used all of her paid time off and is often too weak to work.
