Please Help Becky: Overcoming Tragedy, Now Fighting Cancer

Dear Friends and Community,

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today on behalf of Becky Pratt, a woman who has faced unimaginable loss and is now battling the fight of her life. Recently, Becky tragically lost her beloved partner Missy to suicide, a heartbreak no one should ever have to endure. As she was navigating this devastating grief, she was faced with another crushing blow: a diagnosis of Advanced Stage Renal Cancer that has metastasized to both Lungs, Femur, and Hip.

During this challenging time, Becky’s adult son, Joey, has been a tremendous source of support. He has been there for her, offering moral support and taking her to her medical appointments and treatments. His presence and care have been invaluable as she faces this overwhelming journey. However, Joey also needs our support, strength, and prayers as he does everything he can to help his mother through this difficult time. The emotional and physical demands of caring for a loved one in such a situation are immense, and he, too, is carrying a heavy burden.

This journey is one no one should have to face alone, and yet Becky is fighting this battle with incredible strength and resilience. But as you can imagine, the financial burden of medical treatments, hospital visits, and the ongoing care required to fight this illness is overwhelming. These treatments, along with the many expenses that come with battling cancer, will be immense—and beyond what she can bear alone.

This is where we, as a community, can step in. We are asking for your support to help Becky navigate this incredibly difficult chapter in her life. No donation is too small, and every bit helps ease the burden she is facing. Your generosity will go directly toward covering medical expenses, treatment costs, and helping her focus on healing rather than financial stress.
