Becky Duhaime-Jeske Medical help.

Becky Duhaime-Jeske is the name of this young lady in front of you. She is a mother, step parent, grandma, and all around a wonderful person. She has been in my life for longer than she hasn't and she is my family, regardless of blood.
A few years ago, Becky and my dad took a trip to the doctor after some weird happenings and Becky found out she had stage 4 cervical cancer. She was then referred out to a few specialists, including U of M in Ann Arbor. There were an abundance of treatments, medications, and trips to get there. She had to go through a complete lifestyle change, which included a complete organic diet to make her body less inhabitable for the cancer. For a while, things were looking up and the treatments were working. She was still having to pay for her out of pocket expenses but they were making due as both of them were working full time.
Recently, however, the treatments have stopped working. While on a recent trip to visit her daughter Courtney in Seattle, Becky fell very ill. She has not been able to eat, or travel, and has lost a lot of weight. She went in for an emergency surgery last week to repair an issue with her GI tract and my dad and youngest sister Raechel had to take a next-day flight out to be with her. Currently, she cannot make it back to Michigan due to not only having to heal from her recent surgery, but because she is now scheduled to begin chemotherapy in the coming weeks. She is staying with her oldest daughter in her apartment and Courtney is looking after her to the best of her ability.
I am asking for donations of any amount from whoever is willing. As we are trying to make due as best as we can, it has taken a toll on our family, both emotionally and financially. The medical bills and collection notices from a million different doctors who privately bill are stacking up on the table. The insurance, thank god, has covered a portion, but the out of pocket expenses are racking up including the fact that she is stuck on the other side of the country for an unknown amount of time while she is recovering/receiving treatment. My dad and Raechel have to pay outrageous airfare to even see her and have to take time off of their jobs to do so, further deepening the financial burden.
Our goal is ultimately $20,000 because I believe that will allow them not only the ability to pay their climbing medical bills, but will also allot them a cusion to make trips to be with the family. We are hoping to raise the funds by February 28th, 2018. I thank you for your consideration and hope that whatever you decide to donate, know that it will be greatly appreciated. It is hard asking for the money of others to help, and it is with all pride aside, that we give the most sincerest of thanks.
Thank you,
Brad Jeske
