Becky's beloved Wednesday and Sunday discos.

If you've come this far, you'll know by now that our darling Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law and Auntie, Becky Bower, passed away peacefully, but very unexpectedly on Friday the 26th of January 2024. We're utterly heartbroken.

What you may not know though, is just how much Becky LOVED to dance and socialise with her friends. Becky visited two really brilliant discos in Macclesfield every week! The Wednesday Disco at The United Reformed Church, and Silky Sundays at The Pack Horse on a Sunday, impressive eh?

These two organistaions were so important to Becky and continue to be so for so many of her amazing friends.

Our family have decided to ask for any donations people may want to leave in memory of Becky to be left to these two discos, via this gofundmepage, in order that we can protect and support their continued legacy. With any additional funds the discos will be able to put on bigger and better seasonal parties for their many guests, offer chip butties more regularly (vital sustenance when you've danced for two hours solid) and continue to run the weekly tombolas (which we know Becky adored, and quite often won!). Most importantly we want to ensure the community that welcomed Becky with such open arms, know how glad we are that they were all there for her, and ensure they continue to be there for all those who follow in her footsteps.
