Becky and Family need a little help.

This is for Becky Seston and our family. We’re in trouble, and we need help.

Becky is the most caring, sensitive, kind, generous, and amazing person I have ever met. And it’s not just me who says that. Her co-workers, classmates, friends and more say that she gives more than she ever asks for, and helps others without ever asking anything.

In the last six months, Becky has had an emergency, life-saving surgery, followed by an urgent knee surgery. She’s been off work for 5 of the last 6 months. She works as a Veterinary Technician in an emergency clinic – caring for animals. She’s also attending university full-time, studying psychology and thanatology (grieving) to help people who have lost their pets and help with the veterinary field's burnout and mental health issues.

On top of the surgeries, one of our student loans decided not to give us $5000 of the loans. This left us in a huge hole. We have been trying hard to find ways out of it, but everything has failed, and we’re in trouble. The most amazing person blames herself because of the surgeries.

We’re reaching out here for help because we have nowhere else to go. We currently owe the University $8000 in rent and fees. If we don’t pay soon, they won’t renew our lease or allow Becky to continue school until it’s paid off.

Becky is almost done with her undergrad and will be going to Vet School… but all of that is in jeopardy. If you can help, we would really appreciate it. If you can’t (it’s tight for everyone right now, we understand) – could you leave a message of encouragement/love for her and maybe share this with your friends/community?

Becky wanted me to add that if somehow we get more than the goal, she’ll use the money to help get her to vet school and maybe buy a new set of scrubs.
