Emersyn "Emmy" Doles was diagnosed prenatally with Shone's complex/Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which has resulted in multiple hospitalizations and frequent outpatient clinic visits already in her short three months of life. She was recently admitted again based upon concerns with her ECHO findings, making it safer for her to stay at the hospital than at home right now.

As you can imagine, this has been devastating for parents Becky and Brian and big brother Baker, whom desperately want Emmy to be healthy and to be home. In the near future, Emmy will require further hospitalizations for planned surgical interventions related to her heart condition.

Becky and Brian have quickly learned that caring for a child with a complex medical diagnosis such as this is extremely

taxing physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. Additionally, Becky’s job has recently decided they can no longer accommodate her needs for remote work. As the main caregiver for Emersyn, it is imperative that Becky be able to be present for all outpatient clinic visits and hospitalizations. If you know Brian and Becky, you know that they have the biggest hearts and would do anything for anyone. They just want to provide a happy and healthy home for both Emmy and Baker, but expensive procedures and hospital stays have made things very difficult. They need our help now more than ever and are grateful to anyone who is able to help.
