Cancer is bad. Cancer when you’re a mom of three and a family that adores you is worse. Nothing could prepare us for the battle that Becki is facing and now we need your help to get her through it.
In February 2018, Becki was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The cancer spread quickly and by June 2018, the cancer was at Stage 4. After further testing the prognosis was worse than we expected – Becki has Leukemia too.
Everyday adds more and more to an already overflowing plate. Becki has chemo treatments every 28 days. It take almost two weeks to finally get back to semi-good days. Since Becki is weak most of the month, she still hasn't had to strength to work more than 4-5 hours a day. The immensity of her illness while simultaneously working, going to doctors’ appointments, juggling bills, and working on day-to-day tasks of a mom of college students must do, have taken a toll on her body.
Cancer has changed Becki’s life drastically. Having two types of cancer have caused Becki to work harder to overcome the treatments that wear her down and the fears of what tomorrow may bring. While she has an extensive and supportive network of family and friends, with this GoFundMe page we hope to reach beyond this to an extended community for your support.
The turbulent course of her treatment has led her to this point where she feels she must now share her story. All of this is for one reason only and that is to be able to live happy and healthy with her husband and three children.
The last thing we want is for our sister to be worrying and stressing about how she is going to pay these everyday expenses and medical bills during this battle. We want Becki to be able to focus all of her energy on rest, recovery, staying positive and doing what she needs to do to get healthy and fight this cancer. Her bills are insurmountable and every little bit helps.
My sister Becki, her husband David, and their three children are in need of prayers and support now more than ever. In addition to prayers and love, my family and I would be extremely grateful for any donation you could make to help Becki.

Thank you from the bottom of our heart on behalf of Abel Herrera & Isabel Vallejo and Becki’s siblings Josie, Patricia, Tim, Belinda, Rueben & Abel Adrian.
