Shane has, from the time he was 15 years old, devoted himself to sharing the good news with others. He is the most selfless and generous person I have ever known. He learned Russian to widen his field and opportunities to help others. Six years ago, he started learning Turkish to help the people of Istanbul. The picture above is one of the sunsets he enjoys most evenings.

Today, he was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, or GBS. The doctors are very optimistic that with treatment he can make a full recovery. The sooner the better. That is why we need your help. Every widow's mite would be greatly appreciated.

30th September Update

Shane is undergoing treatments in hospital in Istanbul and will continue treatments for approximately a week. So far, his body is responding very positive to the treatments and doctors are very hopeful. The family would like to thank everyone that has been so generous already. Shane was extremely touched by everyone’s kindness and support! Will keep everyone updated when possible.
