Hi, I am Tracy Albright, the fan liaison for Etheridge Nation, the official Melissa Etheridge fan club. The Etheridge Nation family wanted to do something to memorialize Beckett and comfort his family and friends during this very difficult time. A friend of Melissa's and I have ordered the bench pictured, for Melissa's garden, with a loving message from her fans engraved on it.
$1203.41 of the funds from this fundraiser will be given as reimbursement for the bench purchase.
We are excited to announce that Melissa has decided to use the remaining funds to create "The Etheridge Foundation", in memory of Beckett. We have opened a charitable account to enable Melissa to direct giving immediately, with plans to establish a non-profit foundation in the near future. Please contribute whatever you can.
