Some of my Music
I’m an aspiring singer-songwriter. I began making music about 5 years ago after learning a few chords on the guitar. My first song was a humorous song about a breakup and I quickly learned what an amazing coping skill this was! Not only that, but how much I enjoyed sharing it and relating with a few close friends through song. Since then, I’ve written close to 30 songs and have just recently begun conquering some pretty radical nerves and performing at open mics which has been an incredible experience. Some songs are light hearted, some with the intent to inspire, and some showcase realizations that I have experienced and I believe are common to most if not all people growing up and sorting through the many beautiful and sometimes challenging transitions that life brings.
So, the reason for this go fund me page: I’m wanting to make an EP. My goal is to make a living doing this thing that I love and I think it’s an investment and I think that this EP could carry me a long way. It would be a more accurate showcase of the songs that I write. While I do have soundcloud and like to record my music, I tend to hit walls a lot in this process. Please go check it out, and if you like what you hear at all- donate what you can! Only a small fraction of my work is on soundcloud and likely newer songs will appear on the EP. I’ll be sure to make it so that everyone has access to free downloads of the EP once it is made, one song at a time!
