Hello! My name is Becca and many of you you may recognise me from whizzing around Ashburton on my motorised trike with my little dog Bohdi. I live with a rare neurological condition called Friedrich’s Ataxia which progressively affects mobility.

I grew up in the town and still love spending time outdoors in the lanes and on the moors when I can. But I have a problem. My trike needs some urgent repairs. A local group, the Ashburton Dads Football Club, really kindly raised money to purchase new batteries but it also needs a new motor at a cost of £550. I am totally stuck without my trike and I badly miss all the benefits of fresh air and seeing everyone on my travels.

I wish that I did not have to ask for help but the trike is my lifeline and keeps me in touch with the world outside. If there is any way you could make a small donation I would be forever grateful.
