Becca vs. Cancer: Round 2
Donation protected
Becca is a wife, mother, engineer, friend and so much more. She is battling cancer, so we are asking for your help with her medical expenses, please help us raise $12,000. Any donation – large or small – would be appreciated.
Becca successfully fought Hodgkins’s lymphoma in 2015, but unfortunately just before Labor Day this year she learned that the lymphoma had come back – this time as a more serious, non-Hodgkins’s type. Since then, she has been braving 3-to-5-day hospital stays every two weeks for chemotherapy. The treatments seem to be slaying the cancer, but to reduce the odds of the cancer returning, she is facing an autologous stem cell transplant in early 2024. This will require long hospitalization and months of recovery.
Her family, friends and coworkers have played critical support roles during this time, and we are all incredibly grateful for that. However, at this time her expenses are such that we must reach out to ask for financial help. The treatments are spanning two calendar years, so she will need to meet minimum out-of-pocket expenses twice. In addition, while her employer has been incredibly supportive, she will need to cover COBRA payments to retain insurance until she can return to work. As a result, we are setting up this page to raise funds to support her in this difficult time. Thank you for your donation and sharing this link widely to help us reach our goal!
