With a heart heavy with loss but warmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you, I write this message. Many of you knew my Greggie—a man of unshakeable faith, a beacon of hope, and an inspiration to so many. Today, I turn to you as I honor his memory and navigate this sea of grief.
Greg was known for his caring spirit, infectious humor, and soulful laugh. He had a unique ability to make others see the humor in their lives, and his laughter was as infectious as his spirit was comforting. Who didn't like his Friday morning "Old Dad Jokes" (whispering some didn't find the humor which was even funnier) which always ended with “Is this thing on?!!” (knee slap, guffaw, snort, chortle). His joy drew many to Christ, and his Sunday morning Facebook and Instagram posts from church were a source of inspiration and strength to many.
In response to the countless offers of help from dear friends and family, I’ve established this GoFundMe campaign. This initiative is not only to honor Greg's endeavors that were near to his heart, such as future mission trips, local serving opportunities, and youth sports but also to support me during this difficult time.
In lieu of sending flowers, feel free to contribute any amount here. Every dollar, every message, and every shared memory of Greg touches my heart, providing comfort and strength during this challenging time.
