Helping a Mother Heal After the Unthinkable
Donation protected
Kevon was one of seven kids, raised by a single mother who never stopped showing up- no child support. no shortcuts. Just love, stretch-thin. She held her family together with grit, grace, and whatever she had left at the end of the day.
And Kevon noticed.
He became a helper. A protector. A big brother who gave his siblings the kind of care he never got. He didn’t wait to be taught how to love—he just loved. Loudly. Freely. Like the day he gave his grandmother a ring from a quarter machine at age five and asked her to marry him. She was his best friend. His safe place. His forever.
But behind his giving spirit, Kevon was carrying pain. Real pain. Quiet pain. The kind you learn to tuck away when too many people break your trust before you even hit high school.
On July 6, 2025, Kevon died by suicide.
He was 22—still just a boy. But the world had already asked him to carry the weight of a man.
Now his mother, who has given everything for her children, is facing a loss no parent should have to survive. And she still has six more hearts to hold through the hurt.
We’re raising funds to cover his funeral, give his mother time to grieve, and help this family stay on their feet when the ground has completely dropped out beneath them.
If you’ve ever loved a child…
If you’ve ever struggled to stay strong while silently falling apart…
Then you understand.
Please donate if you can. Share if you can’t. And help us honor Kevon—not just for how he left, but for how deeply he loved.
