Help Us Launch Dye-Free Edible Markers for Cookie Artists Everywhere
Hi, I’m Camella, the founder of The Dye Free Baker — a community and platform dedicated to helping bakers decorate beautifully without artificial dyes. Over the years, I’ve seen just how hard it can be for those of us with allergies, sensitivities, or simply a passion for natural living to find decorating tools that are safe and effective.
That’s why I’m developing something that’s never been done quite like this before: a line of dye-free, edible markers made with plant-based, allergen-conscious ingredients and manufactured right here in the USA. These markers will give bakers — from professionals to parents — a safe, fun, and reliable way to add fine details to cookies and baked goods without compromising on values or safety.
But I can’t do this alone. I’m raising funds to cover the cost of benchtop prototyping and R&D studies with a trusted, US-based food CPG production company. This step is essential for making sure our edible ink formula is food-safe, up to regulation, vibrant, and compatible with real-world baking needs — especially on royal icing and fondant.
