We're running, walking, and shuffling for change – will you support us?
On September 21st, a group of clinicians, researchers, healthcare staff, and friends will be taking on the 12km City to Bay Fun Run in Adelaide — all to raise awareness and funds for THE AUSTRALIAN POTS FOUNDATION LTD.
Whether we’re sprinting, strolling, or simply putting one foot in front of the other, we’re doing it for those living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) — a life-altering and often invisible chronic illness that impacts blood flow, heart rate, and the ability to stand.
Why it matters:
POTS is invisible to most, but its impact is very real. Fatigue, dizziness, fainting, and cognitive issues are daily battles for many — especially young people and women — who often go years without diagnosis or support.
That’s why we’re walking, running, and yes — shuffling — to change that.
More about the cause:
The Australian POTS Foundation is the only national organisation dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for those with POTS. Entirely volunteer-run and without government funding, the Foundation works to:
✅ Fund Australian-led research
✅ Improve clinical education
✅ Drive health policy reform
✅ Build a connected, empowered community for those with lived experience
With your support, we can help make the invisible visible — and create lasting, meaningful change in Australia.
Thank you for standing (and running) with us.
