Because Every Hero Deserves a Sidekick – Help Beti Get Hers
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Natalie, and I’m fundraising for my daughter Beti—an extraordinary 11-year-old from Cardiff who faces more challenges than most of us can imagine.
Beti has suffered a brain tumour and lives with autism, a learning disability, hydrocephalus, and is tube-fed. She also endures the devastating after effects of cancer treatment. She is a bereaved child; her father, a serving police officer, sadly and unexpectedly died of a heart attack at the age of 41. Despite everything, she faces each day with courage and a spark of joy that inspires everyone who knows her.
An assistance dog would be truly life-changing for Beti—offering her emotional support, helping with daily tasks, increasing her independence, and simply being a loyal friend through everything she faces.
Although Beti has been accepted for an assistance dog, we need to raise £14,000 to help cover the cost of its training and care. As a widowed mum and a civil servant, I’m doing everything I can—but we can’t do this alone.
Please consider supporting our journey. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to giving Beti the companion she so greatly needs. And if you can’t donate, sharing our story means the world to us too.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and belief in Beti.
With love and hope,
Natalie, Moli-Nel & Beti
