Hi my name is Laura and I'm fundraising for my precious cat Bebe.

Bebe came to us nearly 2 years ago as a temporary foster for a friend going through a breakup and couldn't take her where he was staying. 13 months later his situation changed and he was going to find her a permanent home. My kids (aged 10 and 14) and I said absolutely not after 13 months she was most definitely going to be our foster fail! (Although is it a fail really?)

My youngest had always wanted a cat of his own. And talked about adopting an orange cat someday when I had decided he was old enough. This was his dream come true! He feeds the cats every day and spends all of his technology break time cuddling them and playing with them, especially Bebe!

Recently Bebe and my other 2 cats came down with ear mites. I was not financially able to take care of it but I applied for a new credit card and made it happen because my pets mean the world to me and my two children aged 10 and 14. I maxed out the credit card immediately taking the cat to the vet and getting the medication for all my animals. (We also have a dog who is 15 years old and in the photo cuddling with Bebe. They are the best of friends and cuddle often and give each other kisses!) It was absolutely worth it! My pets are all doing better except for poor Bebe who developed an ear infection on top of the ear mites and a hematoma. The vet said that draining it would most likely result in it coming right back. She had a shot of anti-inflammatories 3 days of oral anti-inflammatory medication and ear drops twice a day for the past week. The vet said that surgery was pretty much her only option to make sure it goes away. If we do not she will have permanent ear damage. He was hopeful that the anti-inflammatories would reduce it enough that maybe we could be successful with simply draining. Sadly it has doubled in size this week and is now so large that it's blocking her ear and I can barely get the dropper in to give her the medicine. I am terrified every time I give her her medicine that I'm going to somehow cause her pain or make it worse. Surgeries are very expensive and I'm out of options and at my most desperate hour to get her the help she needs! Please whatever you can give is appreciated! No amount is too little! All I care about is that she gets the help she needs because we all love her so much! She is our precious pumpkin spice latte kitty!
