The recent toxic train derailment in East Palestine, OH occurred less than one mile from the PA / OH state line, affecting residents of northwest Beaver County in immediate and profound ways. As a result, many residents of Beaver County are suffering and in need of tangible and immediate assistance. To date, national attention has been focused largely on Ohio, leaving many unmet needs here in Beaver County.

To help address emerging needs in Beaver County, RiverWise is raising funds to empower a growing coalition of community organizations working to help our neighbors. Funds will be used exclusively to meet needs identified by residents of northwest Beaver County. These include cleaning supplies, water, personal protective equipment, and more.
