Last Thursday Beaux was not bearing any weight to his right front leg and was found to have a humerus fracture secondary to osteosarcoma, a type of aggressive bone cancer. For all of you who know Beaux, the sweetest boy whose got a lot of life and love to give. The doctor said it was either amputation or euthanasia as the humane thing to do given the painful nature of this type of cancer, and the bone being fractured. Beaux showed no sign of loss in energy or change in behavior so we agreed it wasn’t fair to cut his life short by putting him down.

Beaux got his right front leg amputated on Tuesday 3/12/24 and is finally home recovering, he’s showing extreme resilience and looks to be acclimating to life on three legs quite quickly. We know this will be an uphill battle but we are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure Beaux receives the best possible care and treatment to recover and thrive. We have created this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of his medical expenses including his amputation, medication, follow up appointments and chemotherapy.
