My name is beauty, and I am a 7-month-old golden retriever mix from the Middle East. I have been through a lot of pain throughout my short life. I was rescued when I was only a couple of months old. I had both my eyes, genitals and legs burnt with acid! I had a rope tightly tied around my neck and was left to die.

I arrived in Canada two weeks ago and have a long way ahead of me. As a result of the acid burn, I am completely blind in one eye and have partial vision in the other eye. I had a constructive surgery in the Middle East, but the damage was so severe that I have no eyelids and can never close my eyes!

That’s the least of my worries, though, as a result of the beating, I sustained some major neurological damage to my brain and have a constant tick in my left arm and neck. Unfortunately, the neurological damage has caused me to have several seizures throughout the day. The doctors say that if I don’t get the seizures under control, I may end up fully paralyzed or even dead soon.

The cost of my MRI is around $7,000.00 dollars, and I really hope I can have it done and find a way to live a semi-normal life for however long that may be. That’s my only chance to find out what is going on and get the proper care. I am hoping you could help me on my journey and give me at least the chance to be just a dog!
