Artist David Linn
The evening of October 15th artist David Linn smelled smoke while working on a new painting in his art studio. When he opened the door of the room where he was painting, he was overwhelmed with black smoke billowing from the attached garage into the main room. He could do nothing but run from the studio to safety and call 911. He watched in shock as the flames soared above the historic two story home, built in 1889, that he'd worked so long to renovate.
In addition to creating spectacular artwork, David builds his own unique frames which required precise tools and machinery of the finest quality. He had collected a formidable workshop over the years and honed his skills to create the perfect frames to compliment and complete his art. Many finished paintings were also destroyed in the fire. The loss of his supplies and equipment is a loss of his livelihood, all of which is not covered by insurance.
David and his wife Jefra and their three beautiful children are genuine, unpretentious, kind and generous people. Friends have created this Go Fund Me Campaign in their behalf. We reach out to raise funds to help them recover a small portion of what was lost in this unfortunate fire.
Deepest gratitude for your donations to a great artist and his family during this time of troubling loss.
