Beautiful’s FIP Healing, Blood Transfusion

update: Friday morning was so scary. Beautiful began whimpering around 3:30am … as we entered the vet her cries developed and she became jaundice rather quickly as well. Her belly was filled with liquid… her liver was failing and she was clearly anemic. She was dying. Beautiful, a soft- hearted angel, was being attacked by FIP. the veterinarian and i tried our best to stabilize her while i found the black market drug known to quickly combat FIP. i found it, injected her and borrowed funding to get her into a hospital for her extremely anemic condition. Beautiful needed a blood transfusion. It’s in these moments it’s so clear, they are without their own pawrents… begging for help… and it’s up to us to ensure they know they are loved. I was moving forward in faith in all of us coming together for her. I thank each one of you for your donations thus far. i couldn’t afford more than a day of blood transfusions. I admitted Beautiful to Long Island Veterinary Specialists praying one blood transfusion is all she’ll need. The doctor kept reiterating she’ll need atleast 3 days. I prayed and received incredible news the next morning shes totally stable, not perfect, but totally stable enough to go home. Through her blood transfusion she was coming back and the doctors came to know Beautiful. She was gentle, cuddling on the cage door and showing her gratitude any chance she could. In a perfect world, i wouldn’t need to rescue and she’d be my baby. She is my Godbaby and she is loved through us all together Please continue to share her gofundme as she is nowhere near out of the woods. I’m sincerely drained and need rest. Tomorrow, i will recalculate the goal to the paid stay of approximately $4,000, Appx $500 initial vet visit and I need to find out how much her 84 days course of FIP treatments will cost. dizzy but I promised this update. update: Beautiful has been diagnosed with FIP. It’s been a very scary morning for this poor baby and I. Suddenly Crying for help, quickly becoming worse through the trips between vet and ER, jaundice in need of a blood transfusion and FIP medications. Only by the grace of SaintSpiro Cat Rescue: Spiro and Rakhi Tsadilas has Beautiful received her FIP injection and is in Long Island Veterinary Specialists Hospital receiving a blood transfusion. But it’s all so rushed and we all are overwhelmed. This is truly a moment by moment, day by day endeavor at the moment. Meanwhile, Beautiful needs a long course of FIP treatments and was recommended 3 days of blood transfusion and associated monitoring. To get there $7267 must be raised ASAP. This is all heartbreaking. I’m closed my rescue intake to focus on her. Beautiful is one of the most sensitive and beautiful hearts I’ve ever come to know. So much so I begged my mother to adopt her. Hi my name is Patricia Klimek. I am facing a wall financially with 33 rescues. I’m a regular person just like you who tries her absolute best to save homeless animals. Beautiful is a cat that has been with me waiting for adoption for some time now. Recently, she has been losing weight and I can’t put my finger on it. Tonight, she is crying. I’m sitting in the parking lot of VEG animal hospital writing this in hopes to raise enough money for her to be seen by our regular vet at a lower cost. I only came here to be sure it is not fatal at this 4:30am hour. I have tried everything I know to deduce what can be ailing her these past days especially. But now she is crying. Without your help, I don’t know what she will have to face. Please help me get her into a vet office in the morning of Friday, June 23rd. She is crying.
