My name is Adriana, and I am writing these words as a grieving mother.

My daughter, Carmen, was only 24 years old. She had so much life ahead of her. She loved to dance, and she was trying to rebuild her life step by step, with hope and determination. She had dreams, and she wanted to find stability and a better future. She was my child, my heart, and a precious soul who meant everything to us. Losing her has left a pain that words cannot truly describe.

Carmen had a gentle and sensitive heart. In recent times, she was going through a very difficult period in her life, and tragically, her life ended suddenly in what we believe was a heartbreaking accident.

As a parent, nothing prepares you for the loss of your child. Our family is devastated, and we are trying to navigate this unimaginable grief.

Alongside this, we are facing overwhelming financial costs. We are based in London, and here funeral and burial expenses are extremely high. The estimated costs are around £9,000 and they may increase.

We are asking for support to help us cover Carmen’s funeral and burial, so we can lay our beloved daughter, niece, cousin and sister to rest with dignity and peace, without the added burden of financial stress.
