Beautiful Pearl - another chance

Hello, My name is Pearl. I was born into a large litter to a mum who wasn't much more than a kitten herself. My mum's owner swapped me for a 4 pack of beer, but my new owner couldn't care for me and my siblings either. We'd seen alot by the time we were 7 wks old and rescued by the wonderful June.

I found my forever home soon after and it was quickly discovered by difficult start had left me with a disease caused by malnutrition and I would lose all my teeth and stay very small.

My new family arranged for me to have the operation and by the time I was 18 months I was finally pain free.

That is when I started to explore.

We only have a small yard in the shade, but I love to sit on the wall in my street, in the sun and being stroked by passersby. They like how I chatter and chirp for cuddles.

Sadly, I got a hit too excited and ran across the road and was hit by a car. The driver was going slow enough that I may recover. Unfortunately, after emergency vets and my normal vet, our insurance limit was quickly reached.

To have a chance of walking again and being pain free we hope to raise some money towards the operation.

I'm not yet 2 years old. I have alot of love to give and life to live.
