Hi, My name is George Yates and I am organizing this fundraiser to help my beautiful friend Nikki Andrews to fund her ongoing battle with cancer. Nikki lives in Conception Bay South , Newfoundland.

Nikki was diagnosed with a very rare form of eye cancer just before the beginning of Covid. Due to the very rare form of eye cancer she has treatments were unavailable on Newfoundland and she had to travel to Toronto for specialist in the care of her rare type of cancer.

Nikki was always a very hard worker who was employed by a National Coffee chain for approximately seven years. However when she received her cancer diagnosis her employer terminated her from her job due to the fact her condition would negatively affect the company group medical insurance rating.

Nikki is a single parent with one daughter and is trying to survive in today’s world on long term disability of approximately $800 per month. She has to travel out of province for treatments having lost one eye to cancer a couple of years ago. Her cancer battle continues.

Please help Nikki get through her cancer journey without having the added stress of not having enough money for the basics and to help with her out of province travel.
