UPDATE: We are now a 501c3 NON PROFIT ! <3

Hi my name is Christy Sami; I am the owner of BEAUtiful Farm located in Rockaway Twp. NJ!

My husband Brian and I bought our historic stone farmhouse and the 10.5 acres it resides on back to life in 2019 & 2020. Our farm is over 100 years old and has been farm assessed until 2018 when it was lost due to the unfortunate sale and foreclosure of the previous owners.

We have FOUGHT and Won our "Right to Farm" but the town is still trying to delay the process on the municipal end. It has been 5 years of this.

BEAUtiful Farm is NOW officially a 501c3 Non-Profit Charity Organization! This will be our home base for funding! All of our donations are now tax-exempt !

Here at BEAUtiful Farm, we are incredibly inclusive and we welcome people of all ages, colors, genders, identities, etc.

We teach riding lessons our rescue horses, enjoy time with Hamlet & Lewis Hamilton the pig, Wendy the cow, the chickens, Apple Dumpling & Betty, the mini donkeys, the best dogs ever, etc! Just being with these amazing creatures is therapeutic in itself.

BEAUtiful Farm offers farm camps, where the kids are immersed in nature around the farm. They learn about the flora and fauna, as well as native species and how to protect them and their habitat. We are a no-technology zone, when you are here, you are here; the kids don't even miss their phones!

We offer riding lessons as well; lead line, and longe line through advanced riding lessons to students at the farm who are not only looking to improve their riding, but their knowledge of horsemanship.

All of our students are responsible for their own horse, even as young as 4 years old, they groom, help tack up, and successfully turn out their horse for a ride! It builds confidence, and skill, teaches empathy, and much more as well as gives the horses and students something to look forward to daily.

We just started going to horse shows and are getting our feet wet in the show ring and our students are doing great!

Our goals are to:

*Create a homeschool pod/environment for daily or weekly classes to teach children about farm life and animal care.

*Add a licensed therapist to our farm to offer equine therapy.

*Fix the fencing so it is safe for our horses and animals and keeps them contained!

*We want to cover our outdoor arena and put solar panels so we can ride, teach and offer programs under a roof and be energy efficient! An indoor space would be the best addition as it would allow us to ride in inclement weather, and still keep our programs going through the winter!

*Finish the floor in our hay loft so there are no leaks in our horse's hay is safe and dry!

*Put up an additional barn or run-in shed for the horses to be safe from the elements (WE HAVE IT, JUST NEED HELP TO BUILD IT!)

*Create a Therapeutic riding program at our farm. (DONE!) It's called HEART HORSE!

*AND MANY MORE THINGS for our community!

WITH the money we made previously, we added automatic waterers to our fields so our horses have cold clean water coming from our wells.

We have created proper drainage so the water will be diverted from the barn to prevent flooding.

We have created an apple orchard/pollinator garden for our honey bees.

We have put a roof on our chicken coop barn to keep the animals safe and dry from the elements.

We have created a party / gathering space as well as firepit area for our events.

We have built a wheelchair accessible mounting block for riding for our students.

Thank you for your time and consideration ❤️ We hope to see you at the farm soon!

THANK You to our farm family!

Sincerely

Christy Sami & Brian Caine
