Can't even write what I'm feeling let alone what I'm writing!!!

My baby boy Dom passed away this evening 09/07/2025 with me holding him which I promised I would do, even though no one knew this would happen like it

has and did not see this happening as you fought through your cancer and all the sepsis bout every single time for so many years, well over 7 years.

The hardest part is leaving you alone in the cold I'm devastated.

You always said why me? And we said It should be evil to get this not you,and I wish It was me Instead

Dom you were a real life superman and fought until the very end. You were many people inspiration, and you didn't know how loved you were.

That sonic and mario tattoo you never ended up getting as you were too poorly, looks like I will have to get it for you instead now.

You're so beautiful and I love you so much I can't put into words, You will always be with me, I will join you soon my angel and I will get justice for you before xxxxxx

The NHS have failed Dom on multiple occasions and failed to diagnose him until it was then too late and he was terminal stage four ! The medics are putting it to the coroners to look into the delay in diagnosis, disgusting that I lost Dom due to this it's horrendous, wish I pushed harder than I did I feel awful.

Prior to diagnosis Dom was collapsing, being sick , screaming in pain with his abdomen, we had ambulance visits, hospital visits, Dr visits and still no diagnosis.

Dom had a bleed to the liver in 2018 when working away, we went to pick him up to bring him home from Salisbury. after the liver bleed there were no further follow ups with Dom made. Dom was later diagnosed in 2022 with liver cancer HCC, Dom had immunotherapy which did not work, he was then offered no further treatment even though the cancer was localised and not mestasised, so due to this the cancer had spread to the lumbar spine causing multiple issues including pain in one leg which was caused by the cancer trapping a nerve and so he had radiotherapy not to treat the cancer but to release the nerve which worked after around 6 weeks of agonising pain during the recovery.

Dom came home with me and was managing better with no infections and reduced pain enabling him to do some of his normal tasks.

Dom went into the hospice four months later to try get pain management and during his stay he became septic and could not talk, eat, drink and was screaming for days on end 24/7. I told the hospice Dom does not respond to the narrow antibiotics they gave him for sepsis (this was known by the hospice as at home he got moved into cefilexin instead) and they continued to keep him on this antibiotic for approximately four days causing deterioration, I said he needed to be on a broad antibiotic piptaz, he was put on this and started talking, getting movements back in his hands and started eating drinking and walking, couple of weeks later Dom stopped walking all of a sudden and could not feel anything when he needed to go to the toilet resulting in Dom having to have bed baths, going to the toilet laying down, rolling him over to change him etc and was demorilising for him as Dom was proud and always clean and well kept, Dom was also in a lot of pain. Dom then got another infection which I spotted and told the nurse at an injection site which had been used multiple times, Dom then deteriorated again and was confused but still talking a bit,Dom then became unresponsive for a day and a half before he passed away in my arms.

we only found that Dom's cancer had spread just before his passing to the whole spine causing pinching nerves, narrowings of the spinal canal which made him unable to walk, unable to weight bear, could not feel when he needed the toilet and excruciating pain.

I am asking for some help to raise funds to give my Dommy bear the best possible send off as I do not have a good income right now, any help is appreciated during the worst days of our lives.

I am raising funds for:

Head stone for burial

The site of burial

Flowers

Coffin

Horses to take Dom to Service for Dom's funeral

All of this is over 7k, its unbelievable.

Thank you xx
