Beautification of Buck Alley

Because of Covid rules and social distancing, students at our school now eat lunch outside whenever possible. In general, it’s nice to eat outside, but at times, the sun is blaring or it's windy or wet. In addition the courtyard is a bit run-down and could use a makeover. With these factors in mind, my eighth grade class has taken on the task of improving the courtyard. This includes cleaning-up the courtyard, making repairs, painting murals, adding a sensory path, planting shrubs, and installing a canopy. They have done all the necessary research and planning. They have presented their vision to the school's administration and to the school board, were approved and now they are trying to raise the money to make it all happen.

Please help this small but mighty group of students raise the money they need to renovate the courtyard. They are very motivated and hard-working and will be extremely grateful for your support. In addition, the improvements they make will benefit all the students at Chatsworth Elementary School, this spring and for many years to come.
