Following an amazing adventure to Zimbabwe, Mrs. Daniel and Beaufront First School are working together with Rocky Glen Ranch (Muranje Eco Safaris), Zimbabwe, to raise money to support the development of the local school - Tigerberg, West Nicholson - which currently provides education for around 400 children. The school has just 2 small rooms and most of the learning takes place outside, even in temperatures of 40+ degrees. There is a long-term plan for development, starting with the construction of a second building to use as classrooms, the provision of resources such as pencils and books, and accommodation for teachers.
