Beau needs a major $$$$ surgery!!

Hi, my name is Dawn and I am asking for some help....My Beau is a beautiful Brindle Boxer and was rescued as a puppy around 8 to 10 weeks of age. He LOVES everyone, there isn't a mean bone in this dog's body (unless he thought someone was going to hurt me-he's my loyal protector). He absolutely adores everyone and his wiggle butt really comes to life when he sees children. He blew his ACL out in his right rear leg about 4 years ago and our Vet did a procedure on Beau's leg and it worked out beautifully (that Vet has since retired).....until a few days ago when he blew out his ACL in his left rear leg. The Vet I spoke with today, that will do Beau's surgery, stated that he does these knee surgeries every Thursday and his first opening isn't until May 4th, but they have us on a cancellation list, in hopes we can get him in sooner. He's getting older now and it seems that the cost of this surgery is a bit out of our means. It's difficult for us to ask for help, but Beau is such a sweetheart and loves everyone and this dog is no where near sickly or just lying around waiting to die...That is NOT our Beau!! He is full of life and has so much more life and love to give. Please consider helping if you can. If you can't, we certainly understand. Everyone is struggling now with the way things have gone up price wise. More and more folks are struggling everyday. Thank you for your help. God Bless!
