Beatriz Cavazos was such an amazing woman. She did everything for her three kids, Christopher (oldest son), Cristal (first daughter), and her 16 year old daughter, Clarissa. She stuck by her husband’s side, Jose, as they were married for 24 years. Beatriz’s family was her biggest priority. She never planned on leaving their sides, but unfortunately, she tested positive for covid a month ago. Beatriz suffered as she put up a fight against covid to finally come home to her family. She fought for a month, in Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, until her body shut down, her heart stopped pumping, her lungs collapsed and she took her last breath. We are all devastated by her passing as Beatriz showed us what a true fighter is. Now we know that Beatriz is in a better place where she no longer is suffering. However, she still is not at peace. We are struggling trying to find a way to finally bring Beatriz home where she belongs with her family and give her the peace she deserves.
