To our friends and family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved parents, Ben and Maria Espinoza, who both left this world within just three months of each other.

Our dad, Ben, passed away on December 23rd after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He fought with everything he had, and his strength, sense of humor, and gentle spirit remained with us until the very end.

On March 15th, we said goodbye to our mama, Maria. After recovering from a stroke, her passing was sudden and devastating. She was a proud member of the SMUD family in Sacramento, where she worked really hard and was known for her dedication, resilience, and warm heart. To us, she was our home — always supporting, loving, and leading us with grace.

As their children, Beatriz and Angelo, we are doing our best to honor them and give them the farewells they deserve while navigating this impossible time.

We are reaching out to family, friends, and our community and are asking for donations to cover expenses in this difficult time. Any amount, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated. Your generosity will go towards covering memorial costs to honor our parents.
