Dear Family, Friends and Compassionate Strangers,

I am reaching out on the behalf of my remarkable mother, Bea, who was my only person in this world and who touch the lives of many over her 60 years of life. She has always been a beacon of love, kindness, selflessness, and admiration. She was the light to so many people in her life, mine especially.

Unfortunately, life has thrown my family in an inconceivable series of adversities. I lost my father when I was very young, leaving my mother to raise me on her own. She endured many hardships over the years, but has always been able to support an amazing life for her and I. As a single parent, my mother was my rock, my source of strength, and my guiding light. She provided a life where I could prosper and become the best version of myself. Her compassion, dedication, tenderness, drive and respect extended not only to me, but to everyone she knew. Bea had a unique ability to make even the ordinary moments extraordinary. Her legacy is one of excitement, kind-heartedness, empathy, and a genuine care for those she loved most in her life.

My whole world turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer in July of 2023, three weeks after retiring in Florida. The news came as a complete shock, leaving me unprepared emotionally, mentally, and financially for the journey ahead. As her confidant and main caregiver, I was met with ongoing stress and anxiety of when her final days would become a reality. We still had so much more to experience in this life together; my wedding day, my first child, my first house, and so much more. As an only child, responsibilities I was not prepared for fell into my lap. Working full time and caregiving for her was a new challenge, but I was dedicated and driven to help fight her fight with her. She wasn’t given the best timeline of survival, but we never expected her passing to be so sudden.

And now, as my family and I mourn her passing, we are faced with the daunting task of arranging her funeral and memorial services. These expenses, on top of the medical bills and treatments, are placing a significant financial strain on us during a difficult time.

I am reaching out to you all for support to help cover costs associated with honoring my mother’s life and legacy. Your donations, regardless of size, will go towards funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and any outstanding medical bills, allowing me to give her the dignified farewell she deserves.

Bea was the epitome of strength, love and resilience, and I am committed to honoring her memory in a way that reflects the impact she had not only on myself, but to all of those she loved.
