Hi, my name is Kerry, and I'm raising funds for Beata's Breast Cancer Battle. Beata and I have been friends for many years, ever since our first days together in nursing school. Beata was recently diagnosed with breast cancer following her first mammogram this past October. She has undergone a double mastectomy and is set for chemotherapy in the near future. Unfortunately, there have been complications along her journey toward chemo, in addition to unexpected personal and financial losses. Beata will be off work longer than originally anticipated, delaying her return to work in the ER. Prior to her work in the ER, Beata loved her work in Labor & Delivery, and prior to that was in the military. Beata is such a hard working, dedicated wife, mom and nurse, with a large heart, a silly sense of humor, a coffee addiction, who is incredibly compassionate and has a genuine love for others. She is naturally a giver of her time and talents.
