Beat Breast Cancer for Nurse Payne ❤
Donation protected
Delissa Payne is a 46-year-old Oklahoma based Registered Nurse and ministry leader who has a big heart for others.
In 2007, she founded EVE Sisterhood, a support group for women, which has since become a huge network of love and support for girls struggling with abuse, hopelessness and despair in and around Oklahoma City.
After over-coming her first cancer diagnosis, Delissa set out to help others in the fight of their lives, by tackling a 9-month fast-track nursing program.
Before Delissa was able to transition into full-time nursing, COVID-19 hit and wiped out her job, along with her medical insurance.
Soon after, Delissa was told she had a recurrence of aggressive breast cancer.
The path for treatment will require alternative therapies and cutting-edge immunotherapy.
At the time the diagnosis was given, Delissa was not insured and is now reliant on all available aid to face both cancer and the many hospital bills that accompany the diagnosis.
Delissa has always been one to push the envelope and to challenge us all to think outside the box in service to others. Now she needs our help to fight for her.
Please consider donating to remove the financial worries that come with extensive cancer treatments, and give our Nurse Payne the chance she deserves to be fully present in this new battle.
These funds will help Delissa with previous and future treatments, therapies, and quality of life costs.
Delissa has been approved to begin several cutting-edge treatments, but not until a significant portion of the goal is raised for down payment.
We have until September 19th to make the down payment of $30k. It will take all of us together to reach this amount. Please share for Delissa and let's lift this one burden off of her shoulders, as she begins this overwhelmingly hard road ahead.
If you cannot donate financially, please share words of encouragement anyway. We want Delissa to know how much love is out there for her and we want to send her to CHIPSA with lots of encouragement to read, since she'll be traveling alone and at the hospital for 21 days of intense treatment, followed by three more months of treatment back in the States!
Thank you, Gracias, Merci, Grazie, Domo Arigato, Danke, Khop Khun Mak Kha, Mahalo, Toda, Easy as and Shukraan!
