Help Peter Gallagher Beat ALS
Donation protected
My name is Peter Gallagher and I was diagnosed with ALS in January 2019 (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease)
I live in St. Louis and have been getting standard treatment for ALS and participated in 2 trials. My disease has continued to progress.
I was a very active and competitive person, and this disease affects my everyday life. I love sports, fishing, golf, skiing, and everything outdoors. I have a 17-year-old daughter who plays golf.
I have been progressing slowly but currently must use braces on both legs and I need assistance to walk any distance. My balance is very unstable. My arms and hands are also getting weaker. I am not sure how much you know about ALS but it impacts many families and is debilitating and devasting. More research and treatments are needed.
Through some recent testing, I have found out that I have Lyme’s, viruses, and toxins that need to be eliminated and could help with the ALS symptoms. These SOT treatments are new, not covered by insurance, and very expensive.
We are trying to do everything we can to fight this disease which is why we are asking for help. The funds will be used for new medical treatments, dietary and supplement needs, and potential adaptions to my home and vehicle.
