I am not one to ask for help and I am so embarrassed to even do this but our dog Bear had emergency surgery yesterday. He had a cystotomy and a castration. They unfortunately couldn’t remove the stones lodged in his urethra. We were referred to BluePearl in Southfield, upon getting here they put him under and attempted to dislodge the stone but again where unsuccessful. Today he is having a urethrostomy to reroute his urethra and remove most of his penis. Bear is only 3 years old and I cannot stomach the thought of putting him down. This has put us in a financial bind. We are looking at spending in total $9,500 in vet bills and on top of that missing work and hotel stays while he is recovering. He means everything in the world to our family so if you can help at all we would appreciate it more than words can say. The funds will all be used to pay the BluePearl Emergency Vet Hospital.

Bear enjoys treats, he is very food motivated. Playing in his little doggy pool & going camping with his human brothers. He is the best boy and anyone who has met him has instantly fallen in love with him.
