Hi all. I have created this GoFundMe for my “furphew” Bear Yovino-Hernandez.

Bear has sadly sustained an injury, a torn CCL in his right hind leg, and will need to have surgery to correct it. Unfortunately, he is all too familiar with this injury and surgery as he previously injured his left hind CCL in 2024. This surgery roughly ran Matt and Jose $6,500. Having to repeat this surgery less than 12 months later is putting Bear’s Daddies in an extremely difficult financial situation, and hopefully that is where you wonderul humans come in.

At the moment Bear is as “comfortable” as can be on pain medication, but that is only temporary relief. The cranial cruciate ligament is one of the most important stabilizers inside the knee joint of a canine.

Receiving this surgery, (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy), will render the knee more stable in the absence of the CCL.

It was and will be a huge surgery for the pup, but he needs this to live a hopefully pain free life.

If you’re still here and reading, hi , quickly I just wanted to tell you about Bear if you’ve never had the pleasure of meeting him. He is one of the most loyal, loving dogs I have ever met. He adores my three children and has always been their protector, always stepping in if his sisters get a little too rough. He loves their snuggles and they love him. He knows to sit by me during any meal, because he knows I’ll slip him some of the good stuff. He loves perfumes and deodorants and will do whatever it takes to get a sniff. Most importantly he LOVES his Daddies!

This amazing dog does not deserve an ounce of the pain he’s experiencing.
