Hi, my name is Ivory, and I’m putting together this fundraiser for my parents’ dog, Bear.

Bear is a 7-year-old golden retriever with the biggest heart. If you’ve ever met him, you know how special he is — sweet, silly, and full of love. He’s been part of our family for years and means everything to us. Always there with a wagging tail, cuddles when you’re down, and his goofy personality that lights up the room. He’s truly my parents’ best friend. ❤️

A few months ago, Bear tore a ligament in his leg. Since then, he’s been in constant pain and struggling just to get around. We’ve tried everything — medication, rest, therapy — but nothing has worked. At this point, the only real solution is surgery.

The truth is, my parents have already spent so much trying to help Bear heal — months of vet visits, medication, and therapy. Now we’ve reached the point where surgery is the only option left, but unfortunately, it’s just more than they can afford on their own. As heartbreaking as it is, they’ve even started to consider putting him to sleep — not because they want to, but because they feel out of options.

But we believe there’s still hope. Bear has so much life and love left in him, and we know with the right help, he can get through this. That’s why we’re reaching out — for support, for shares, for anything that can help give Bear the second chance he deserves.

Bear deserves to run and play again, to live without pain, and to grow old surrounded by the people who love him. We’re doing everything we can to make that possible, and we’re asking for help — whether it’s a donation, a share, or even just sending this to someone who might be able to contribute.
