Hi everyone,
My sister, who is starting nursing school soon, recently adopted her second rescue dog, a sweet pup named Bear. Not long after bringing him home, she noticed he was having trouble walking. After a veterinary evaluation, we learned that Bear had suffered serious injuries to both of his front legs. The vet believes the injuries were caused by trauma—possibly from someone hitting him with a bat—and that they were never properly treated. As a result, his front legs healed incorrectly, leaving him in daily pain with limited mobility.
Bear does his best to get around, but walking is painful for him every day. Surgery has been recommended to correct the damage and give him the chance to move comfortably and live the active, happy life he deserves. The estimated cost for the surgery is about $5,000.
We’re setting up this fundraiser to help cover Bear’s surgery and recovery costs. Every contribution will go directly toward getting him the medical care he needs.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Bear’s story and for any support you’re able to give—whether that’s through a donation or by sharing this page with others.
