Our dear friend, Chris “Bear” Barringer, has passed away after a long and courageous fight with complications from diabetes.

If you knew Chris—whether from high school, through family, or by the light he brought into a room—you know he was one of the good ones. The really good ones. He had a quiet strength, a kind heart, and a sharp wit that made you laugh even on the hardest days. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a fiercely loyal friend.

We’ve known Chris most of our lives, and we still can’t find the right words to say goodbye. The world feels a little dimmer without him in it. He deserved more time, and his family deserved more time with him.

All proceeds will go directly to Bear’s family. It’s our way of wrapping them in support during this incredibly painful time. If you feel moved to contribute or share, it would mean the world to Bear’s wife Jen, and his daughters Mikaela and Abby.

Chris gave so much of himself to others. Let’s surround his family with the same love Chris gave us as a T-Bird and a friend.
