This is Bear, my 5 year old German Shepherd. He had been having tummy trouble for a little over a week so we brought him to the vet thinking we’d just need some medicine to help him “go potty” and we’d be okay. As our visit to the emergency pet clinic unfolded, we were devastated to find out it was more than just a tummy problem. We were informed that he has a large amount of excess fluids in his tummy and that he’d have to go through numerous tests and x-rays to get to the bottom of whats going on. It could be intestinal problems, internal bleeding, or other life threatening diagnoses but the cost of said tests is larger than we had hoped. If you or anyone you know can help, Bear and I would really really appreciate it. I just want my baby to be okay and in order for him to be okay, I need to be able to pay for the services he needs.
