Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

We find ourselves faced with a heart-wrenching situation as one of our Plato schools beloved students, Ben Beard, 5 years old in Kindergarten at Plato Academy Tarpon Springs, is currently battling serious breathing concerns and is under sedation while relying on a ventilator for support. The journey to recovery will be a challenging one, and we are reaching out to our compassionate community for support.

Both of Ben's parents are part of our Plato Academy community. Mr. Beard is the Assistant Principal at the Trinity campus and Mrs. Beard is a 1st grade teacher at the Tarpon Spring campus. Ben has an older brother, Luke, that is in 3rd grade at the Tarpon Springs campus. To ensure that they can focus solely on supporting Ben's recovery, we have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds that will directly contribute to covering the extensive medical expenses that will inevitably accrue during this challenging time.
