Hi, My big brother, and local Colorado comedian Bear Quattlebaum, has had chronic pancreatitis for over 10 years as a result of abdominal trauma from a car accident. Sometimes it flairs up and lands him in the hospital. After a scary bout of severe anemia in April that lead to lots of testing, it was discovered a psuedo cyst off his pancreas that's been there for years has filled with a dangerous fluid that cancer really loves. He doesn't have cancer, but to try to prevent it, his doctors are going to remove the tail of his pancreas, the entire pseudo cyst, and his spleen on September 20th.
This is a MAJOR surgery and will require a full month minimum of healing, rendering him unable to work during this time.
Please help Bear be able to pay his monthly bills, get groceries, etc. Any dollar amount is highly appreciated! Spread the word!
