Help Bear get surgery

I didn’t choose Bear. He chose me. That’s not a joke. I sat down surrounded by puppies and he sat down right in my lap and fell asleep. We’ve been inseparable ever since.

(Yes, that is a blanket covered in pictures of Bear lol)

Bear has a growth on his neck. We joked around and called it his “neck boob” because the vet originally said it wasn’t a big deal… but it’s growing - and not stopping. It’s become a problem.

In this photo next to my hand you can see the growth. It doesn’t look like much because my hand is covering a lot of it but I’m sure you can still see a dogs neck should not look like that.

Bear is 7 years old turning 8 in March of 2023. He still has a LOT of life left to live.

Because of his size and his age, he is slightly higher risk for surgery which makes it more expensive. The vet has quoted me at $2400 to up to $3000. (I have a copy of the example invoice if anyone has questions.)

This dog is my heart and soul. Anyone who knows me knows I would give my life for my dog if it came to that. I have his paw print tattooed on my foot. I will max out credit cards and do everything I can to help him get this surgery but it still wouldn’t cover enough.
