I’m still in shock that I lost my home a few days ago, along with the beautiful forest and an entire community.  Aside from having to replace countless important daily necessities I’m left with having to figure living situations out. 

Many don’t know but I left my marriage 4 months ago and my whole life was transitioned back to Berry Creek when I did. I can’t even explain how crippling this is to my life as a single mom: washers, dryers, refrigerators, stove, wood stove, vacuum, beds for the kids, my bed, etc. Not to mention my Dad’s Snap-on tool Collection he’s been collecting for 30 years  and his Mini Cooper

My business has already taken a huge toll due to the corona virus shutting everything down. I really don’t know how many more of these blows I can take

the devastation is just surreal. 

we all know the dangers of mountain living, but to go through it is like falling down a rabbit hole. I’ll be falling for a good while.
